Our H2O Gravity Purification System is simple to assemble and No tools are required. We recommend placing the lids on top of the buckets making it easier to check water levels and clean. The lids can be snapped/locked down. For optimal purification of clean water; keep the upper bucket as full as possible, i.e. as you use clean water from lower bucket, replace the same amount in the top.
Our standard system includes:
1. Place the large sealing washer (4) over the threaded part of the filter element (3)
2. Place the element (3) into the hole in the base of the upper chamber (2)
3. Place the bottom lid (1/2” hole in center) over the threaded part of the filter.
4. Hand tighten nut (6) snugly so bottom lid is secure to bottom of upper chamber.
5. Place one small washer (8) onto the threaded part of the outlet spigot (10).
6. Insert thread of spigot (10) through hole in the side of the lower chamber (7).
7. Place the second small washer (8) over the thread within the chamber and secure in place with the nut (9).
Tighten securely by hand only
8. Put the upper chamber (2) on top of the lower chamber (7)
9. Fill upper chamber with water; flow rate will be 1-1.5 liters per hour.
10. Place upper lid (1) in position on upper vessel (2)
Filter Activation
Fill upper chamber with water and allow to drain into lower chamber. Drain lower chamber and discard. Clean any residue, then refill upper chamber, it’s ready to make clean water. Please see filter instructions for more details.
